Microsoft ASP.NET Developer

Web sites today must be able to handle multiple simultaneous users while providing a fast and feature rich Web 2.0 interface. This course provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully design and implement cutting edge Web sites, Web applications and Web services using Microsoft’s .NET framework, ASP.NET. They will learn to develop fast and feature rich Web sites and applications using Ajax and JQuery. Through participation in multiple modules students will gain a broad understanding of how to create and maintain Web sites. Students will be introduced to the many new features of ASP.NET that help to improve performance, security and interoperability with the latest browsers. Participants of this program will have the opportunity to explore using web technologies such as XML, AJAX and SQL. With the rapid growth of ASP.NET this course will prepare students for employment in a corporation or as a freelance developer.
