There are two exam options offered for this course, corresponding to the LLQP regulatory requirements you may be pursuing:
- CICF - Full Version Exam
- CIAS - Accident and Sickness Exam (A&S)

- Canadian College of Business, Science & Technology is licensed by CSI Global Education Inc. to conduct the Canadian Insurance Course (CIC) (Prerequisite for LLQP). Participants of these seminars will save time in understanding the complex course contents and have a better understanding & receive a certificate upon course completion.
- If you plan to sit for a LLQP regulatory exam, you must first complete the corresponding Canadian Insurance Course exam. Completion of the CICF entitles you to write the full LLQP exam. Completion of the CIAS entitles you to just write the A&S LLQP exam. The full LLQP exam leads to a full life license that also includes A&S.
- You have up to one year after successfully completing your course to sit for the corresponding LLQP exam. However, it is recommended that you sit for the corresponding LLQP exam soon after successful completion of the CIC exam, as your knowledge and understanding of the subject matter will be fresh and current.

- Investment products; common shares, debt securities and mutual funds
- Underwriting, pricing, claims; life insurance applications, policies, the agent role
- Taxation including planning, RESPs, solving tax problems
- RRSPs, RRIFs, LIFs, LRIFs, Annuities
- Risk management and needs analysis
- Common, contract and tort law
- Professional standards, responsibilities, regulations, Assuris and E&O insurance
